Patrones de la producción académica colombiana en Economía y Administración (1974-mayo 2014): un análisis bibliométrico basado en Scopus Colombian Production patterns in economics and administration (1974-junio 2014): a biometrical analysis based on Scopus

En este artículo se identifican y exponen las tendencias más importantes y distintivas de la producción académica en Economía y Administración para el período comprendido entre enero de 1974 y mayo de 2014. Para ello se emplearán indicadores bibliométricos descriptivos, como lo son: volumen de la producción, tipología de documentos, idiomas de escritura, número de citaciones, filiación institucional de los autores, fuentes, principales revistas (González-Pereira, Guerrero-Bote y Moya, 2009) y los índices H, G, R, i10 y A (Hirsch, 2005; Egghe, 2006, Jin, Liang, Rousseau y Egghe, 2007, Túñez López y de Pablos Coello, 2013); y se considerarán los registros encontrados en el índice bibliográfico Scopus asociados a la producción de autores cuya filiación institucional sea una entidad colombiana.

In this article, the most important academic production in economics and administration are both identified and exhibited for the period between January 1974 and June 2014. To this effect, descriptive biometrical indica¬tors will be used, such as, production volume, document type, languages, number of references, institutional affiliation of the authors, sources, main journals (González-Pereira, Guerrero-Bote y Moya, 2009) and the indexes H,G ,R, i10 and A (Hirsch, 2005; Egghe, 2006, Jin, Liang, Rousseau and Egghe, 2007, Túñez López and de Pablos Coello, 2013); the records found in the Scopus bibliographic index related to the authors with Colombian affiliation will be taken into account.
