La violencia contra la mujer es un flagelo que atenta contra la dignidad y la estabilidad de cualquier sociedad en el mundo. Las cifras aumentaron tras la pandemia y dado el confinamiento, muchas mujeres expresaron vivir con el enemigo en sus hogares. La complejidad radica en determinar hasta qué punto este problema, fundamentalmente para las mujeres rurales, termina normalizándose socialmente. En este orden de ideas, se consideró importante revisar estrategias que fortalecieran los derechos, las garantías y la calidad de vida de la mujer rural, de tal manera que se dignificara su presencia como actor político para generar igualdad de oportunidades en el campo social y propiciar la eliminación de la violencia física y emocional. Por consiguiente, la intervención tuvo como propósito plantear estrategias de prevención de la normalización de la violencia contra la mujer rural del corregimiento Sur Oriental del municipio de Fusagasugá. En esta investigación, aplicada y desarrollada desde un enfoque cualitativo, se pretendió comprender la realidad de la mujer rural en un contexto de violencia para lo cual se utilizaron como instrumentos metodológicos la encuesta y la revisión documental toda vez que ofrecían un acercamiento ágil, asertivo, de fácil comprensión y consulta.

Violence against women is a scourge that threatens the dignity and stability of any society in the world. The numbers increased after the pandemic and given the confinement many women expressed living with the enemy in their homes. The complexity lies in determining to what extent this problem, mainly for rural women, ends up becoming socially normalized. In this order of ideas, it was considered important to review strategies that strengthen the rights, guarantees and quality of life of rural women, in such a way as to dignify their presence as a political actor to generate equal opportunities in the social field and promote the elimination of physical and emotional violence. Therefore, the purpose of the intervention was to propose strategies to prevent the normalization of violence against rural women in the Sur Oriental district of the municipality of Fusagasugá. In this research, applied and developed from a qualitative approach, the aim was to understand the reality of rural women in a context of violence for which the survey and documentary review were used as methodological instruments since they offered an agile, assertive, easy to understand and consult.
