La educación en ciudadanía en el pensamiento de Adela Cortina

Este artículo de reflexión es producto de una investigación titulada “Formación de ciudadanos del mundo: un estudio de IAP y ApS desde la glocalidad y la pedagogía crítica en un contexto de educación superior”. El objetivo es presentar la comprensión de la educación en ciudadanía según Adela Cortina, bajo la metodología Investigación-Acción-Participación, y la propuesta didáctico-metodológica de Aprendizaje por Servicio. Se logró determinar que la formación de los ciudadanos parte del pensar global y actuar localmente bajo los principios del diálogo, del consenso, de la justicia y la democracia, vinculando la relación dinámica acción-lenguaje-pensamiento-mundo, desde la vida cotidiana al aula de clase como un ejercicio dialógico entre sujetos agentes que se cuestionan en relación con su mundo vital. De no ser así, la formación de ciudadanos se convierte en un discurso vacío de contenido de las políticas públicas en educación y de los proyectos educativos de las instituciones educativas.
This reflection article is product of a research entitled “Training of citizens of the world: a study of IAP and ApS from glocality and critical pedagogy in a higher education context”. The objective is to present the understanding of citizenship education according to Adela Cortina, under the Research-Action-Participation methodology, and the didactic-methodological proposal of Learning by Service. It was determined that the training of citizens starts from global thinking and acts locally under the principles of dialogue, consensus, justice and democracy, linking the dynamic action-language-thought-world relationship, from everyday life to the classroom of class as a dialogic exercise between agents that are questioned in relation to their vital world. Otherwise, the formation of citizens becomes an empty discourse of content of public policies on education and educational projects of educational institutions.
