Es innegable la importancia histórica que tienen los acuerdos firmados por el Gobierno colombiano en cabeza del presidente Juan Manuel Santos y el grupo guerrillero más grande de Colombia, las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de las FARC-EP el pasado 23 de junio de 2016. Sin embargo, en términos de lucha social desde los estratos más bajos y la movilización popular, la pompa y los hechos en La Habana oscurecieron tanto como revelaron. Internacionalmente —y debido a las restricciones informativas— solo una pequeña minoría de observadores y activistas se enteró de que acababa de pasar la manifestación más grande del país en las últimas décadas.
